Self-help principle
Self-help is applied for disease management and for peer support of concerned persons.
We are a self-help organisation, which supports this process as we promote self-help groups and help mediating contacts between actors. We provide resources for a dialog of concerned persons.
Contacts to CF-ambulances and CF-clinics are given as well as to other professional helpers like psychologists, nutritionists and physiotherapists.
Our counselling centre offers personal psychosocial and social law advice and support for concerned persons and their relatives in Berlin and Brandenburg.
Furthermore we do publicity work to make the rare genetic metabolic desease more familiar.
